How to Perform Ablution (Wudu)?
Wudhu in the Arabic Language: Wudoo is the action, and wudhu the water used.
Therefore - and it is also a verbal noun; or they are two forms of the same word, both meaning the verbal-noun and maybe both referring also to the water used.Wudoo in the Sharee'ah: Wudoo is using clean and cleansing (Tuhoor) water upon certain body parts as Allaah ta'ala has prescribed and explained.
Basis of any action is to make intention that is what our religion teaches us to do, make your intention (Niyyah) to perform Wudu. This doesn't has to be a verbal act but mentally prepare for an act that cleanse and purifies.
2 Start with Bismillah.
Recite bismi-llāhi ar-raḥmāni ar-raḥīmi (In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful).
3 Wash Hands.
With clean water, wash right hand first for three times and then move to left hand and wash it three times, wash between the fingers and thumb too.
4 Rinse Mouth.
Three times, with clean water, rinse your mouth spit out the water every time trying not to swallow it.
5 Cleaning the nose.
Put water into nostrils using right hand three times.
6 Wash your face.
Wash face thoroughly starting from the hairline on your forehead and from one ear to the other three times.
7 Wash your arms.
From wrist to elbow wash for three times starting from right arm then the left arm.
8 Perform Masah.
Religious act of cleaning one's head with small amount of water in a specific way is what is called Masah. It is only done once. To perform Masah, wet hands and place palms flat on the top of head (where the hairline begins). Wipe them to the back of neck, and then back again to the front. Now wet the back of both ears by placing thumbs behind them. Use index and middle fingers to wash the front and back of ears.
9 Wash feet.
Starting washing form right foot, for three times, from toes up to the ankles. Do the same to the left foot.
