Repent and Never Despair if You Have Sinned for Allah SWT is the Most Merciful

There are many things in life that ultimately take us away from Allah (SWT) and put us on a declining path that leads us from damage to despair the more we travel on it. There are people that are so far gone in their misdeeds that they have come to the conclusion that there is no way that they can be forgiven or get back under the mercy of Allah (SWT). For such people especially and for all sinners in general Allah (SWT) has said in the Quran,

“Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."
(Quran Surah Az-Zumar Ayah 39:53)

Hearing and reading this, those people that are living with despair and fear, know this that Allah (SWT) is the Most Merciful and He forgives all sins and transgressions. The only thing that people have to do is to take the incentive of turning back to Him. The best way to return to Allah (SWT) is to become regular in prayer, recite the Quran and constantly seek His forgiveness. Be happy and certain that if a person repents with a sincere heart no matter what his or her sin might be, if sincerity is present, then Allah (SWT) will forgive that person, Insha-Allah. Do not despair of the Mercy of Allah (SWT), these words are enough for any person to return to the Lord of all Creation and simply understand that that he is the Most Compassionate indeed. There are people that return to Allah (SWT) and are successful, and then there are those that are so far gone, it is difficult for them to come back and even if they do, they have no idea where to start. Here are a few tips for those that want to rekindle their relationship with Allah (SWT).

Repent and Never Despair if You Have Sinned for Allah SWT is the Most Merciful

Only Seek Love and Compassion from Allah (SWT)

Many damaged people in the world can often trace the roots of their problems back to some particular event, be it traumatic or otherwise. There are many things in life that happen which can force a person to become hostile towards his or her existence and angry. For a believer, these hardships in life are tests from Allah (SWT) that he or she should endure with patience and faith. For anyone going through hardships in life, the best advice to them is simply to have faith in your Lord. Let the love of Allah (SWT) enter your heart and believe in the fact that His plan for you is good no matter how dark things seem right now.

Make Dua

Leaving sins and bad habits can be very difficult, for when a heart is further from Allah (SWT), it is more vulnerable to the evil shenanigans of the Devil. The first and foremost thing that a person has to do who wishes to live a happy life in this world and find success in the next is to ask for forgiveness from Allah (SWT) and worship him. Allah (SWT) has blessed us all with a very invaluable gift, which is Dua. Dua is a means from which Allah (SWT) has directly opened a door for us to get in touch with him and ask for his forgiveness or ease in affairs or anything. The best advice related to Dua that can be given is, not to only ask what you need in Dua, but actually let it all out. Allah (SWT) is the All Knowing and knows out affairs better than we do, so pour your heart out and tell Allah (SWT) all about your problems knowing that He knows them best already and believe in the fact that He will indeed provide sustenance and ease to you. This is an excellent way to release anxiety and stress and most importantly to get closer to Allah (SWT).

Read the Quran

The Quran is the word of Allah (SWT) Himself that was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (SAW) centuries ago. In the Quran are recorded all the rules and guidance that if followed can lead a person to success in this life and the next. Reading the Quran is one of the proven and best ways to release anxiety and stress and it brings one closer to Allah (SWT) and softens the heart. For those that have difficulty in understanding the Quran, they should get in touch with teachers. Simply reading the Quran is not enough, one also has to understand it to reap its benefits. People who do not have access to good teachers should really consider joining an online Quran school or get the services on an online Quran teacher through whom they can learn at their own pace and timings.
